What to do to entertain two young children inside the house?

The family dog has had a litter of pups and well to say the least she is useless so we are having to monitor her at all times, with my mum sitting up all through the night and then I take over during the day while she sleeps. The problem is I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old to entertain at the same time, I've done the normal playing with toys, paper mache, colouring and painting. Im kinda outta ideas and they are getting bored as I would usually take them out to wear them out.
