I cant afford to pay my car anymore what do i do ?

ok i have a car.. and well its not mine yet cus im still paying the loan off.. but heres the thing.. i cant afford it anymore... i dont have ajob and the payments are to high ... well i owe like $8000 but its only worth like $5000 now.. anyway so i cant seem to sell it.. is there anything i can do.. like break the contract and tell the bank hey sorry..cant do it anymore.. or will that still be considered as a repo.. and *** up my credit.. wut do i do.. im jus screwd huh?
